Have you ever been at a place in your life when simply felt you were owed the apology? Been in that relationship with the person who did you wrong, heartbroken? The only way you see the feeling passing is to hear those words, “I’m sorry.” It’s the hope that when you hear them it will make the heartbreak worth it. It will ease the pain you have carried?

“Girl, You Owe You! It is your time to pay yourself back. It is your complete right to be a little selfish, be focused on your own goals. You owe it to You to see the life that you have only dreamed of. Just know no matter what I am out here cheering you on, girl!

I am 4th generation Pentecostal Apostolic church girl. (this isn’t the flex I used to think it was) I have been a Pastor’s Kid for the past 34 years. My childhood was filled with weeknight prayer services, revivals, conferences and prayer breakfasts.

What I am beginning to see is that people want to rebrand themselves covered in Jesus. I mean I get it but is this really you or it is a show? Some people start out on their journey without Jesus in mind or even at the forefront of their “content” or what they are posting.
