It’s For Black People Anyway!
Imagine my surprise and shock (heavy on the sarcasm) when I see white girls on their flight making a reel on IG as they put on their bonnet and sunglasses on mentioning in the caption they are getting comfortable to fly. Here’s my question, “Are we calling them ghetto too?” The black culture is stolen from to be “hip”, “down” even considered an “ally” look around everyone on, “MUTE” (thanks Beyoncé!)

5 Lessons Our Wedding Taught Me
On our BIG DAY before walking down the aisle I whispered to myself, “Stay Present.” Finally making it down the aisle seeing my husband the entire day we whispered to each other and ourselves, “Stay Present.”

Baby I’m Weak!
I leaned heavily into the idea of being the “Strong Black Woman” In the face of adversity I taught myself never to cry in situations that hurt me, broke my heart and even crushed me. I wanted to never look weak so I would endure and remind myself I’m strong enough to handle any situation simply proving my strength.
