Take Off Your Cape
Not sure when I picked up this cape I feel like I need to wear every single day. Maybe it was because I am the oldest of my siblings, second oldest of 20 grandkids, 15 great grandkids who knows. Maybe it is because I felt I needed to be strong for everyone around me. I have been walking around silently hoping for an applause for wearing this cape.

Have you ever felt like you have been holding your breath waiting for something to happen? Waiting for that “thing” to happen to you? Have you just been begging and screaming for things to get better?
I must be honest that has been me a lot these last couple of weeks.
What About Your Friends?
I vowed I would NEVER take another road trip three years ago after traveling with my family for vacation. I will meet y’all there. My childhood was full of road trips, I have paid my dues. That was until two weeks ago when one of my parents very close friend passed away.
When you see your parents mourning their friend it hits your heart different.
What I Need to Unlearn
So, instead of focusing on what I learned, I want to reflect on what I need to UNLEARN in this new year. I believe it is the only true way to provide for most productive next 10 years.
